It's Potty Time

Little man has been showing signs of being ready to potty train for a while now. I just really haven't pushed the issue and kept hoping it would all just happen on it's own.

I had the best of intentions the past two weeks but I only lasted until the first accident in the training pants.

Tonight though he really did it all on his own!

After his bath tonight I had dried him off and was trying to get his diaper on when he let out the smelliest gas. He took the diaper off and went and put himself on the potty! He then ordered me OUT of the bathroom.

Seriously - he is such a man!

After several times of climbing on and off and on and off and on and off the potty he finally went pee pee and was soooo PROUD of himself.

We jumped around seeing the ever famous Pee pee in the potty song. Flushed and washed hands. He then would not stay off the toilet. I finally bribed him getting to call Nana if he would put his clothes back on.

So I now have hope that come June we will only have one little one in diapers! WOOHOO!!!

Milestones

Pregnancy is a wonderful thing. It is completely miraculous.

There comes a point though where you no longer count the time in weeks or even months but rather milestones.

I have currently moved past the everything I see, smell, taste, or touch makes me run to the bathroom to become one with the toilet.

I am still in the phase of raw meat is disgusting and chicken cut up into cubes is inedible though- just to make that clear.

I have entered into the every liquid that enters my body sends me running to the nearest bathroom moments later. This mostly happens at night when I should be sleeping.

Last night I hit a huge moment in my pregnancy.

I have been dreading this part quite honestly. See I sleep on my stomach. This bit of useless trivia only comes into play when another person is growing inside of said stomach.

I am now the proud owner of a brand new sleeping buddy.... my body pillow. I figured I might as well embrace this milestone though because it will last for the next 4 1/2 months.

The body pillow i chose is basic. The cover for it is so wonderful though. I am not really clear as to what animal pattern it is, picture what a cow print would look like if it was a chocolate milk cow instead of a regular milk cow. But it is velvety soft. I just want to rub it constantly.

I also found the cutest pink swing for baby girl. I didn't purchase it but I am definitely loving it. Then while in Target I found some sweet little outfits on the clearance rack. Summer clothes aren't out just yet but I have been able to find some sleepers and some larger size outfits for next fall.

My mom joked with me that the economic recession officially hit at the same time I stopped my shopping habit. My husband predicts the recession will slow down considerably once baby girl arrives.

It is so hard to resist all those sweet little clothes though. I mean they only let us dress them for such a short amount of time before they decide their style is jeans and a tee.

Baby Girl

This past Thursday I had another ultrasound and we were able to see what this little bean is!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

I can honestly say that I would have been just as thrilled with a little boy. Not too mention a little more decided on a name.

We have agreed on a middle name and are torn between two first names. I am leaning more towards one and the hubby is leaning more towards the other.

I am finally starting to feel her move. Which has been wonderful.

I am also into a great part of the pregnancy. I am mostly over the all day sickness and the extreme exhaustion.

We are planning on moving before little girl is born. Now let us pray that the landlord can find another renter so we can move before she makes her appearance.

Things are good. The kids and I are headed home for a little while to visit. We weren't able to go over the Holidays so we are going now. The hubby will be on a trip so it is a perfect opportunity before our homeschooling co-op starts back up.

OOOOH COOOL! Did a quick spell check and no miss spellings... I will probably miss spell something in this sentence then HA!

Nope I didn't!

It's his BIRTHDAY!!!

Happy Birthday Hubby!

You are officially 30! You are old. Yes, I realize you are younger than me and I am NOT old at 31 but you are officially old at 30!

Seriously though Happy Birthday BABE!

You refuse to give me any clue on what to get you. Since the budget is tight I have decided that the kids and I will be giving you a homemade cake (THANKS DUNCAN HINES)

A clean house. (pay NO attention to the laundry in the corner that you will probably be folding tomorrow when it is NOT your burthday)

We are also taking you out to dinner :) YUM!!! OH I HOPE YOU PICK MEXICAN! But I am willing to bet you pick Applebees and that you have the steak. Even though you don't even really like their steak but among many things you are a man of consistency.

I love you!
